Whether you’re looking for a drummer for your local gig(s) or tour, a session musician, help developing parts before going into the studio, or an experienced educator, I deeply enjoy finding the approach that best serves the music and the artists making it.
Live Performance
Whether you need a sub, have some local gigs lining up, or a regional, national, or international tour, I bring the same approach to every project: show up prepared and on time, communicate professionally, support the artist’s vision, and always make the band sound as good as it possibly can.
Studio Recording
From single songs to full-length albums, I provide live drum and percussion recordings either remotely from my studio or in-person and your studio of choice. Whether the part is already written or we’re developing it together, my focus is on creating performances that feel inevitable.

Project Development
Some of the most valuable work for both live and in-studio performances happen before the official downbeat. I am available to help develop drum parts, rehearse the production, refine arrangements, and work through the musical and technical decisions needed for the success of the project.
Technical Services
Many modern performances require more than just playing the instrument. I also assist with playback systems, hybrid drum set ups, electronic percussion, stage hand, stage management, backline teching, and drum tuning, when projects require it.
Teaching
Education and sharing the joy of music with others is one of the most important parts of who I am as a person and as a musician. I teach private lessons on drum set, percussion, guitar, bass, piano, voice, music theory, and songwriting through C Roberts Music Lessons.
